When I received this light in the mail I of course unpacked it immediately. I found the light to be stout snd fit my hand well, as I unpacked the rest of the box I found cr123 batteries and a tool to help mount the light.
Mounting was easy, I pulled the forend off and used the tool provided to remove the spacer nut, slid the old forend off and the new on. I tightened the nut, put the batteries in, there are 2, you have to pull the carries out for the 2nd battery to go in.
The entire process took maybe 10 minutes and was easy b/c of the tool provided.
I do recommend this light, it is robust, comfortable and easy to use. The light is bright and illuminates the target and surrounding area well out past OO buck range.
