Exactly what i needed for a hobbyist air pistol - Nikko Stirling 1x30mm Reflex Red Dot Sight w/3/8 Mounts

purchased to add to a Umarex Trevox air pistol; needed something short, with long eye-relief and wide diameter optic, and configured to attach to a standard dovetail or Weaver mount (depending on how you describe it); Nikko Stirling (NS) was a bit ambiguous in its description of the mounting, so I picked up a cheap adapter just to be sure; when the NS sight arrived it mounted firmly and easily with no tools; in cross-section the extruded aluminum body is curved on the bottom to perfectly straddle the cocking tube and piston of a .177 cal airgun; you could mount it on a flat Weaver-style rail, but that's not what I needed; no lens caps, battery or any other accessory included; I think it hits right where it needs to for those looking for an inexpensive optic to clamp to an airgun
