Excellent scope - Nikon Fieldscope 13-30x50mm ED Spotting Scope w/Zoom Eyepiece

I spent a lot of time looking at different scopes and all different price ranges. I was looking for a scope to take hunting and backpacking. I read a lot of positive reviews on this scope so decided to give it a try. The scope is impressive and far exceeds all of the other scopes in its size bracket. It's very light and suprisingly small. optical quality from the high def glass and fully multi-coated lenses is very sharp. this scope does not disappoint. I will note that I've become very picky about image quality ever since I purchased my Leica Ultravid's a couple of years ago. I can't go back to inferior glass. Magnification tops out at 30x but that works great in most situations. If you need a lot of magnification you will need to go to a larger scope. for the traveler or backpacker I can't recommend this scope enough.
