this is a perfect AR15 scope! At close range you can crank down the power to the point where there is little magnification and be able to rapidly engaged multiple targets at 5 or 10 yards very quickly and accurately. And as soon as you want to take out a target at 400 or even 600 yards the scope has plenty of magnification to get the job done. the scope goes very well with the m223 mount
