Nice Scope
Very nice quality scope for the money. Good eye relief as well. I use it on my AR10 out to 2-300 yrds. Will be getting another one for my 30-30! It works well when mounted in quick release mounts or solid mounts.

Even though this model is discontinued I scored mine new on a trade!already set up for a pic rail so she dropped right onto my Marlin 336 30/30..and she's shoots straight as an arrow out to 250 yards so far at the range...cant wait to get her into the field!...if you find one in good condition snag it they're great scopes for the money!!

Nice clear, lightweight scope
This Nikon 3x9-40 scope fits great on my AR15. I was looking for lightweight and simple functionality and this scope has that. Very clear optics and Bullet Drop Compensation reticle for longer range shots. I downloaded the Free Nikon Spot On App and that works super easily to calculate bullet drop for every ammo and situation. Price was the best around too, on sale. Just buy it!
Excellent scope for the money! If your sitting and debating if you should buy it I'm telling you now you should. Very clear and holds 0 on a 30-06 with out any issue. This was a replacement for a factory scope and was a great investment

Good Scope
I use this product, I think it is very nice and useful. I will use this until I find better than really useful in price and quality. I am open to your suggestions if the price is better in terms of performance

More than I expected
Optics Planet provided an overwhelming number of rifle scope choices which made it easy to compare and choose within my price range. A pleasant discovery upon a prompt arrival of my Nikon scope was an error on Optics Planets' part in my favor. I ordered a 40mm scope and received a 50mm objective which I initially desired but didn't want to spend the extra money for. The box was labeled correctly but it's contents was different. Thank you. Further investigation of the website showed me many other items including fishing tackle that I intend to order this Spring. Love this scope
Have a few Nikon scopes and they have never let me down, built good, clarity is good, definitely worth spending the money on a Nikon it’s a scope that once you dial it in you don’t have to worry about it

solid workhorse
I ordered this scope because the price could not be beat ($89) for a Nikon. I put it on a .177 cal spring airgun. I can drive tacks now at 20 yards. I can put 10 in a row under the size of a quarter. Great for fooling around plinking, squirrels. Would work equally well on a 22LR. Good eye relief.
