I have been using my Nikon 8.5x45 Monarch X Binoculars for several weeks. I am very happy and impressed with their optical quality. I use these Nikon Monarch X binoculars mostly for Bird watching and I can see subtle features and colors of birds at 25+ yards. These Nikon Monarch Xs are the best purchase from Optics Planet I have made so far. Pros: Easy & comfortable to use. Excellant Optics Cons: None

Purchased for longer range target shooting as well as other outdoor activities. Please with the product; comes with lens covers and a soft case.
Pros: Clean visability, easy to focus and good protective caps

excellent binocs

I like these binocs. Sad to learn they are discontinuing this model. The 8.5 power and 45mm optics are a good choice.
Pros: image quality, bright image, eye separation adjustment. ease of focus, easy to locate object to view.
Cons: diopter adjustment is stiffer than it has to be.
