Nikon is recognized as one of the best in the optics business. I looked through a gamut of different name brand rifle scopes at all price levels. Nikon was easiest on the eyes, great eye relief, quick target acquisition, sharp focus throughout the zoom, superb light retention and the BDC reticle design was the easiest on my eye.
