Nikon m223 2-8 bdc - Nikon M-223 2-8x32mm Rifle Scope

Got the scope with free mount, and 10% off overall, which is a very good value. Scope has good clear glass and performs as advertised. Overall size and eye relief work well on an AR carbine. The reticle subtensions are hard to discern because everything (circles and intermediate hash marks) is so close together. Younger eyes than mine help, but they have a hard time with it too. Simple hash marks would have been preferred to the circles. The turret adjustment knobs reset to "zero" but don't lock. This hasn't yet been a problem but it's a negative, and rubbing against something could potentially take it out of adjustment. The mount will be fine in my case (hunting rifle), but it's a 2 piece and will require re-sighting in whenever the scope is removed. Not a remotely "tactical" solution at all IMO.
