Capt. Mike's Review of Nikon M-223 4-16x42mm Rifle Scope - Long Range Waterproof Hunting Scope

I have used Nikon scopes on rimfire rifles and have been pleased with the glass clarity. This one is no exception. Using this 4x16x40 with the one piece base on an AR and I sighted it in yesterday. I'm using it for target shooting at 100 plus yards and the adjustable turrets for zeroing make it a snap to change for various distances up to 600 yards. I would say that with any optics you get what you pay for and this is no exception. Good quality for a under $1K scope.
