all in all this is a good product. If you read the instructions first and rotate the eye piece you will find the clarity exceptional. Also, a feature I had not seen in my last rangefinder was as you moved over various areas and backgrounds you could see the range change. I like the case having a belt loop. Now I don't have to hang it around my neck when I'm walking.
I believe for the price it is a good product.
