Works night or day, measured light pole in the dark at 651 yards with just enough light to make out what it was and to my surprise it was right on. Measured billboard at 1323 yards in daylight and only 3 yards short had no idea it would measure that distance. Deer at 436 spot on, wow. Nikon has it right for sure. Glad I made this choice. One day service from Opticsplanet, could not ask for more. Very Happy.
