Nikon omega 250 bdc for blackpowder hunting - Nikon Omega Muzzleloading 3-9x40 Rifle Scope

I bought this scope for use with an in-line blackpowder rifle. Using this scope and a load of 100gr Blackhorn 209, Barnes 290gr TMZ w/Harvester Crush Rib sabots, and CCI 209M primers I can shoot 1 1/8" 100 yrd and 2 3/4" 200 yd groups prone unsupported. This decrease in my group size is entirely due to this scope and using the Nikon Spot On software located on their website to map the reticle holdovers. The scope is crystal clear, and the eye relief is very generous. I can recommend this scope without reservation, and will buy another as my blackpowder collection grows.
