I own several Nikon BDC scopes and this one is my newest addition. Mounted on a Ruger Scout Rifle in 5.56.
Mounted in the normal scope position and not on the rail. Wish there was more range in the eye relief distance. It is critical where I put my cheek on the stock to get the full view through the scope. That is why I did not give it 5 stars. I like well enough I'm going to buy a second one for an AR-15.
