Good but with 1 problem - Nikon P-Series Mount 835,1 in

The P series mounts are rock solid. The 1 piece construction fits even better than a surgical glove. The tightening screw even without a little blue lock tight has never moved even with the 308 recoil. Used a little lock tight on scope mount rings and they have not moved. Now the 1 big problem. I built the rifle to shoot pigs with a thermal scope and in iron sight rifle matches. But I also like to shoot precision shots at distance. This requires a day scope. PROBLEM, you cannot remove the scope without dismantling it completely. You have to remove the scope rings and scope before removing each mount individually. I refer you back to the surgical glove analogy. Each time I change how I use the rifle I have to set the scope back up. I would have preferred a "Return To Zero" Quick Disconnect mount. If I were going to put the scope on and leave it there then my review would have been a 5.
