Nikon Prostaff 7 is a Winner
I purchased this scope for clear optics, great light gathering and a big variable range (4-16). I could not have been more satisfied. I think I'll have to put one on another gun as well. After all the price point is superior to other Scopes with the same features. Listen, it simply has the best eye relief that I have found. Hunting season here I come.

Clear and spot on no tracking issues installed on SPS700 6.5 creedmore installed with Talley rings. Want a scope without the cost to reach out there and have clear glass would highly recommend giving this Nikon scope a try

Can't be it for the $$$$$
I bought this scope for my 270 and was replacing a 4-12 X 50mm Nikon Buckmaster. I deer hunt and I just put a Trijicon Accupoint on my 7mm Mag. If money is no concern then the Trijicon would be my scope BUT since money is a concern...This Prostaff 7 was what I chose for my 270. As a matter of fact, last season climbing into my stand I dropped my rifle onto the ground and landed on some thick pine straw.....I thought sure my hunt was over....I test fired my rifle very soon after and it was still "dead nuts on-1" high at 100yds!" and have not had to touch it since, even for this hunting season and sighting in for this season, haven't touched it, still dead accurate. Very clear and crisp.....and I will not buy another 1" scope tube again for ANY of my hunting rifles. I am going to trade out the scopes on my daughter, son and get this scope for my wife and her new hunting rifle. All were Nikon buckmaster with 1" tubes. All will be this Prostaff 7 with the 30mm tube!!! Great scope for the money!!!

Nikon Prostaff 7
Very clear and easy to sight-in. So far it looks like there is easy Target acquisition. I haven't had it long enough to tell whether it holds it's zero when I take my rifle on a horseback hunt, but I don't see any indication that I will have a problem with that.
