Nikon prostaff 7 laser rangefinder - Nikon PROSTAFF 7 Laser Rangefinder - 6x21mm, ID Technology

Looks and size get my approval, as well as accuracy. However, I am very disappointed in the edge to edge clarity. It is milky looking. It has been my experience with Nikon to be high quality, but not in this case! Some people are very particular about the edge to edge thing, but I normally am not so much. This rangefinder's "edge" milky look is a very wide portion and makes it distracting. The eye relief is also very critical. As I sometimes wear eye glasses, and sometimes not, it is hard for me to establish a repeatable grip, to establish the perfect hold for the eye relief. I have two other rangefinders. One is an older Bushnell sport and the other, an even older Nikon 440. Both are more clear than the Prostaff 7. Neither are water proof or have the angle compensation, which is why I bought the Prostaff 7. My primary use is for archery.
