Great value - Nikon 20-60x82 ProStaff Spotting Scope Zoom Spotting Scopes

This is my first scope, so my experience is limited to a few other scopes I happened to look through at the range or in a store. This is definitely the brightest and clearest scope I've seen so far, but I haven't checked out any of the really expensive brands. Slight chromatic aberrations are noticeable near the edges of the image, but not in the center.
Comes with rubber caps for the objective lens and eyepiece. You can also install the included nylon case with removable objective and eyepiece covers for another layer of protection.
I was a bit surprised by the size of this thing--it barely fits in my backpack. I guess this is pretty normal size for a scope with a 82mm objective.
Pros: Bright, clear image and zoom eyepiece
Cons: Slight chromatic aberration, large size
