This is a great upgrade to the orginal AA cell maglight. I now can use it again rather than sit in my toolbox. The installation is a bit tricky becuase you have to reverse the bulb connections a few times before it actually gets power to light the LED. Otherwise, I wish I would've thought about reviving my old maglights a long time ago.
Pros: Much brighter LED over old bulb
Cons: Tricky to install
