Powerful and long battery life. - Nitecore EC4GT Flashlight

This is my fourth Nitecore flashlight. Like the rest, it is built rugged and should prove to have a long service life. The light is slightly large for EDC but I am currently carrying it every day. The beam has a decent spread along with a very bright center focal point of light. This light really comes into it's own after 100 yards. Prior to that, I prefer some of the shorter throw 1000 lumen lights a little better. With two 18650 batteries, run time is outstanding. I'm not a fan of the power and mode switches. They are small and hard to find on the side of the body. Tail cap switches are much easier to find in the dark. No pocket clip so if thats important to you, pick another model. I know I just pointed out some features I'm not crazy about but over all, I really do like the light. It's incredibly bright. Not too heavy. It's also fun seeing peoples reaction to it when you first turn it on. She's a little laser beam.
