Added this to a 5.56 pistol I built. Helps keep your hand from getting in front if the muzzle and also serves as a great support for firing off objects. One of the most unnecessary additions I’ve purchased, but it looks pretty slick on the front of the gun. Will likely put one on my 300 blackout
