Noveske QD End Plate keeps your lines flat along the butt stock and the quick detach feature allows options for sling removal which can be handy if your swapping uppers and lowers. My reason for my purchase was while I was learning "power stroking" the Charging Handle with my weak hand, my fingers and knuckles where banging into my original end plate sling attachment point that had slots extending on the 2 sides.
