Fabtone's Review of Noveske Raptor Ambi-Charging Handle 7.62mm RAPTOR-762
This is by far my favorite 7.62 charging handle. I like the BCM gunfighter 7.62, but it is not as "compatible" as this one because of the ridges on the underside of the gripping surface (will not fit all upper designs). The Noveske works great in my Midwest Industries 308 (with Aero Precision receivers) whereas the BCM would not allow the receivers to close together in the rear. The noveske is a bit bulkier, but it is exceptionally robust and ambidextrous to boot!!
Pros:
- compatible with multiple guns
- Ease of use and operation
- well built, solid construction
Cons:
- A bit bulkier than the BCM model
