I have waited too long to buy this set. This makes putting in the roll pin way easy without scratching your lower. I haven’t used the set to punch out the roll pin yet but with its design, it should be a breeze too. The starter punch helps you getting the roll pin in without using plier. You can use the normal roll pin punch to do most of that but most of the time they are too short. Or the handle too wide making you driving the punch in at an angle.
Pros:
- Not too expensive
- Help making the job easy
Cons:
- Too specialized tools
Best Used for:
- Driving in the bolt catch roll pin on AR
- Starting the roll pin
- Driving out the roll pin
