DWeezy's Review of Okuma Fishing Tackle Avenger Carp Spinning Rod

I bought a new Okuma Avenger ABF-55B reel to go with this rod. It was a perfect fit. I loaded it with 20-pound Trilene Big Game line and a spring feeder rig. I loaded the rig with soured corn pack bait, and the 3-pound test curve handled it with no problems. I used this setup and caught several nice channel catfish, which was my target species. All in all, this is a great rod, and you won't do wrong with buying it.
