I have gifted at least 100 of these lights over the past three years. They make the PERFECT gift for ANYONE. Young or old, male or female - everyone just loves this light as a gift. Most people have no idea that such a small light can have such a powerful output. This new version starts in Med mode, then goes HI then Lo. So the modes are Med-Hi-Lo. I kinda preferred the older interface, where it was Lo-Med-Hi. But this new interface is OK.
