Todd's Review of Olight Osight S 1x14-21mm Reflex Red Dot Sight
Purchased in April 2025. Mounted on a CZ Shadow 2 Carry. Been to the range 3 times...well, 2.5 times. This last time out, the unit failed after about 3 magazines. Red dot just quit. Totally unresponsive.
I get to test their 'lifetime warranty' now. A bit disappointed Optics Planet only has a 30 day return but I guess you have to draw a line somewhere.
On the plus side, this is a feature rich unit. Multiple reticles. Shake awake. Auto dimming. Rechargeable. Host of screws for mounting. However, even tho they have Loctite on them, they do 'shoot loose' when using the recommended torque settings.
Also the windage adjustment lacked the 'click' when you turned the adjustment screw. Annoying.
I actually bought two because the initial offer pricing was sooo good. Hopefully the second unit is more reliable. It's only been to the range once, so time will tell.
