2 years till it died - Olight PL-2 Valkyrie Rail Mounted CREE XHP35 HI LED Weapon Lights

Carried this light everyday as a LEO mainly working nights, so it was used frequently. I’ve had it for about 2 years and never had any issues or complaints. Very bright and I prefer the toggle switch to the rotary one on the SureFire X300. However I fired about 200 rounds today at the range and I guess from heat or vibration it finally died. The light would stay bright even when batteries were low unlike the SureFire which dims as batteries age. However my SureFire x300 has seen equal amount of use and is still working fine. Considering the price I’d say it’s worth it and is a good value. However it does not seem to be built as robust and I think that showed compared to the SureFire. If I was going to pick one for go to war itd be the SureFire. For good value bargain use, the olight. Over all a good light just couldn’t hold up to the usage as compared to a SureFire.
