This adapter makes one's 2-inch diagonal accept 1.25-inch eyepieces. It has a low profile meaning the focusing distance is conserved compared to high profile adapters. The colette locking mechanism helps in keeping the eyepiece centered with the telescope optical system. Nice addition to one's kit.
