Doesn't work with steiner binoculars - OPMOD ABH 1.0 Binocular Harness

After purchasing this and calling Optics, they confirmed that these two items aren't compatible (I bought Steiners in same order). However, I magnified the photo of the harness and see that one can tighten the harness straps around the eye cups--I just hope this works and the binocs don't fall!
Pros: inexpensive, light, can be used putting straps around eye cups
Cons: Steiner binocs have clip-in strap holders, so they charge $50 for their customized harness
