I've had experience over the last several years with American Technologies Network Corporation (ATN). I purchased an ATN X-Sight II HD 5-20X and was extremely pleased with the scope. As it was new technology it had a few glitches such as an occasional lock up and although it was advertised as a night scope the IR light that came with the scope was limited in range. If I knew then I'd order the bigger Super Nova. The night video was great as long as you had a short-range target or the target area was already lit up when using the smaller light. Despite this the daytime optics were great and a pleasure to use for watching game and hunting. In fact I was impressed with how well the optics collected light right up to the last bit of daylight during afternoon hunts. The picture was a bit pixilated at full magnification, however it was a minor limitation, as it wasn’t a factor in identifying an aim point. The one shot zero was also a big plus and worked perfectly the first time I used it. By far the scope was way beyond my expectations for the price and offered a great entry point, especially for night hunting. Most important was the customer support I received in resolving minor issues. Most of the issues were due to a failure on my part to fully understand the complexities of the scope and updating software. The directions could have been better but I can't fault the support I received in resolving these issues. I know that there have been numerous complaints about tech support, but I never encountered them. In particular the support I received from one tech representative, Milen Yap, in evaluating my concerns and discussing future upgrades was above and beyond! I'm anxious to see what improvements and capabilities the 4K Pro 5-20X scope might offer. The new scope appears to have addressed many of the shortcomings of the previous X-Sight II and should bring some welcome changes in the field. Again, at the entry price points that these scopes provide they are fantastic. Thermal is great, but not within reach for everyone. Overall I would give the scope a 4-Star due to the nature of the new technology but the great customer support that smoothed out the issues brought me to a 5-Star. You have to expect some growing pains but ATN seems to be on the right track.
