While EOTech makes great optics, the color matching leaves something to be desired. The “FDE” magnifier is closer to olive drab than flat dark earth. Other than that the green reticle looks great, even in a forested environment. To be honest, there is not much difference in acquisition speed between the red and the green. Go with the red for longer battery life. But you can’t go wrong with either. Also, get it in black unless you like 50 shades of FDE.
