NOHEXPECTATION's Review of EOTech OPMOD EXPS 3 Holographic Red Dot Sight
The holographic reticle takes a bit getting used to, it appears pixelated but after focusing on a target, the picture clears and the reticle marks become distinguishable. It really is a great red dot for the money, there is a reason that military uses them. This OPMOD version has a real quick detach mount, it feels very secure and is firmly fixed when mounted, then when you push the button and pull the lever, the optic removes from the rail easily.
Pros:
- compact, rugged, simple
Cons:
- no auto shutoff
Best Used for:
- close range, medium range
