Most Helpful Positive Review Premium low cost barrel
Barrel arrived quickly. Came in perfect condition and feels high quality. It is not dimpled but the finish is perfect. No issues with the feed ramp or rifling. I really think if you’re on a budget you can’t go wrong.

accurate and cheap.

16” barrel. After break in the barrel dump about 120 rounds went to the 100 yard range grouping was 1”-1.5” using 62 grains bps ammo. Not bad for a budget build.

Better than expected

Only about 50 rounds through it so far but I'm pleasantly surprised by the accuracy. Got a 10 round group at 1.51moa at 100yds with Frontier M193 and it likes AAC 75gr ammo too. That being said it hates green tip but I don't really care. I'm sure it'll only get better as it gets broken in.

This barrel is absolutely amazing!!! I’ve built a lot of ARs and this is a sub MOA barrel!!! I won’t ever go to a different company after this barrel! My shooting buddies are absolutely jealous of the performance of this rifle with the ballistics advantage

Feed ramp issue

I have purchased quite a few barrels from ballistic advantage, never an issue. This one looked odd. The feed ramps were milled off center about 25 to 30 degrees, obviously a manufacturing error. Also the finish on this one looked very dull. Somewhere between phosphate and nitride. I could live with a dull finish, but this barrel was inoperable, should have never left the factory , sent back immediately.

Awesome barrel for the price

This was one of my first barrels I bought and currently have around 500 rounds through it. So far it’s been excellent but a little front heavy compared to the other BA barrels also your gonna need to dimple the barrel but that didn’t bother me
