Not a good tactical option - Holosun OPMOD HS510C 1x30mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

I like this sight for the most part. It is light and functional. But there is a very obvious light that shines onto the glass for the red dot. This can be seen from the front of the sight giving a very obvious light signature on your rifle. I also looked at the front of the sight, while on it's lowest setting, with night vision and it looks like a flashlight. This is unacceptable for a tactical option and I will be going back to the Eotech that has no light signature. If you are not using it tactically or for self defense it might work for you especially if you don't use it in the dark.
