Wide front sight post

Review for
Strike Industries BUIS II Sidewinder
This is not a bad product if you want it as a back up and there are no better options. The front sight post is wide so it is hard to het precision shots at distance. I have used it out to 100m and at man size targets it is usable. It does take up very little space and does not weigh much.
Excelent Optic
Written on Sep 01, 2025
I have this on a Sig 229. It has worked well so far. Did a 4 day pistol course with this optic and had no problems. It lines up perfect with the iron sights on the 229 Legion for a seamless alternate sight system.
Awesome Light

Very versatile light. It does everything you nee it to do and more. I was a Surefire person but this has made me appreciate Streetlight and there innovations.
Not Enough Tension for my peanut head

Does not create a tight enough seal to protect your hearing especially when wearing eye-pro. I just chose to run my ear-pro under the helmet or use in ear protection when comms are not as much of a priority. This might work for some large headed mutants but it did not work for me.
Worth The Money
Written on Apr 13, 2025
These things are worth every penny. I added some additional accessories to mine which are also expensive but once you buy you will see the difference. Works good as a tactical comm headset and just stand alone hearing protection. I wear it as-is under my helmet. I found that all the rail attachment mounts don't keep it tight enough to me ears. If you wear it under the hemet you can also use it with other headgear or just by itself.
Outstanding

Solid optic! This is the best in the Romeo series. I have found no downsides to this thing. Holds zero perfectly and has a good field of view. Button settings are easy to get to and controls are intuitive.

High Speed Gear Rifle Taco MOLLE Pouch
Holds mags in place until you need them. Nothing more to be said. They keep it simple and it works well. You could conceal it if necessary.

Review for
Magpul MIAD/MOE Core Storage
Falls out every time I shoot but yet at the same time impossible to get out without tools when I want it out. Most frustrating thing Magpul has ever made. Stay away.
