My G43 was really plain and Austrian manufactured. I have become used to using optics on my other guns. This slide was just what I was looking for. Solid Manufacturing. Easily added optics. Ran 30 rounds rapid fire - no problems. I did notice that the finish dinged easily with just a small amount rough handeling. It is my first non-black finish of my set of guns so I was a little taken aback. Other than that - nice.
