Misguided effort - OpticGard Trijicon SRO Scope Cover

I take no personal pride in making this review as so many "trolls" constantly rage on line these days....BUT this to me is completely useless as it offers practically zero protection for your SRO of which I have two that are amazing and expensive !A piece of plastic that "protects" the support structure of the sight (which it does not have a need for) and leaves the lenses virtually exposed (which are the heart of the optics performance/vulnerability)!!! Always when holstered/carrying in a upright position the rear lens becomes exposed to the elements/contamination,scratches,dirt.dust, et c.This provides NO PROTECTION for the rear lense (50% of the glass) and tries to protect the front glass/lens with an ADDITIONAL not connected piece of plastic that can be lost everytime you remove the cover !! There is no need for this second piece as EVERY OTHER optic cover ever made to my knowledge is ONE PIECE simply/ quickly removeable in one motion. That is the idea of the cover, nothing more/ nothing less. Maybe there is a patent on a one piece latex/rubber covering or something I have not concidered but ALL THAT IS REQUIRED here is a "rubber-boot that completely covers all of the optic....One and done as they say...again sorry to say (but not sorry) Thanks for your concideration.!!
