Great value! - Opticron Oregon 4 PC Oasis 8x42mm Roof Prism Binocular

These Opticron Oregon 8x42 binoculars are a great value. They are very well built with quality rubber armor that is easy to grip. The comfortable eye cups are easily adjustable and stay put. The view is clear and bright with good contrast. There is plenty of eye relief at 22nm. The objective eye covers and rain guard are decent quality and stay in place, as well as the case and neck strap. The only knock on these binoculars is the slight bit of glare while viewing towards the direction from which the sun is shining but not directly in the sun. I’ve mostly used Steiner AF binoculars for hunting but decided to buy a pair of roof prism binoculars for birding. I’ve tried several pairs of higher quality binoculars costing over twice as much, but these Opticron Oregons provide the most comfortable view. Overall, I’m impressed and come with a lifetime warranty to boot.
