Optronics a great value - Optronics 6-24x42mm Horizon Hunting Rifle Scope - RBH-62442V Rifle Scope

If you're like me and only get to hunt and shoot a short part of the year and do not want to spend your house payment on a scope the Optronics scope is for you. First, for the price range the quality beats Barska, BEC, BSA or any of the economy scopes. If you want a cheaper scope but worry about quality this one at least backs up a product with a lifetime replacement warranty..you can't go wrong. I thought that I would take a chance based on that alone and glad I did. I mounted it on a 300 win mag for long range deer hunting in open fields. I love it. The zero holds even with heavy recoil, the vari power ring is smooth and not too tight , I had a Barska that felt like changing the power was like rubbing sandpaper together..none of that here. Any scope will only hold its zero as long as you mount it correctly, since I shoot a heavy mag rifle, I used good quality steel bases and quad rings, and loc-tite on all screws..I have had more expensive scopes that look like dogs compared to this Optronics scope.
Pros: great price good quality awesome warranty
Cons: maybe a little dim at highest power
