I use the Otis Technology 31 Db hearing protectors on the firing range for practice and when testing repaired or modified firearms. I have found that these hearing protectors work very well while not being heavy and bulky. They allow you to hear normal conversation while protecting you when the shooting starts. They don't make your ear canal sore like standard silicone type ear plugs do and they require no fitting, with quick on off ability. The system allows full protection for people large and small. I have many friends that have been to combat and return with tinnitus, I believe they could have benefited from this product and feature them when inquiring about their problems with the ringing in their ears.
