Good blade overall, shorter than I anticipated. On the positive side, the shorter length should allow the blade and scabbard to fit well in a back pack/go bag. Holds an edge well and good feel while working thru brush and vines. Can not comment on rust/corrosion as have only used it in dry conditions.
