Tyler Benecke's Review of Overwatch Precision TAC Shoe Only CZ P10 Trigger

I've tried two other trigger shoes with different firing pins and different striker springs. HBI was okay, but I stopped using their trigger because take up. I also ditched their striker springs. Too inconsistent. I shoot a couple 1000 rounds a year and shoot USPSA and one light primer strike during a stage is a bummer. Stick with OEM striker springs. I then tried a killer innovations trigger shoe with a CGW striker firing pin. Loved it for a while but the shoe gives my finger blisters. Very good crisp break. Minimal decrease of take up. Then I found this. This paired with the overwatch firing pin is the best option imo. So much more comfortable than the Killer Innovations, no blisters, and I prefer this break, being pretty light but it has a lot less take up and a very quick reset. Overall if you're looking for a trigger setup that's what I'd do. But seriously don't change your striker spring leave it OEM or at the most CGW Green striker spring is pretty GTG. But I carry what I compete with so I want as much reliability as possible.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • Quick reset
  • Far less take up
Cons:
  • No longer a "glass" break. A little more grit in the trigger pull. Not noticeable unless you're pulling the trigger very slowly
Best Used for:
  • Carry/competition
