John23's Review of Overwatch Precision TAC Glock Trigger
I bought this trigger for a Glock 34. If you are not familiar with that model, it is basically a Glock 17 with a longer (5"+) barrel. As such, this is not a carry gun, this is a range/competition gun. As with any such gun, I practice with it a lot ... and, after 50+ rounds, the original trigger blade-safety really began to cut into my finger. (The original trigger-blade safety does not fold flush with the trigger when the trigger is pulled, it remains slightly proud of the face of the trigger, and that put extra pressure on my finger.) Obviously, in any real world defense situation, this is not an issue ... but for me, it was an issue on the range.
The Overwatch Precision TAC Trigger has a nice Flat Face, and a nice Flat Trigger Safety ... that folds Flat with the Trigger Face when you pull the trigger. As such, there is no extra pressure on any part of my finger. This allows me to practice effectively, longer.
Now, in addition to being More Finger Friendly, this new trigger came with an NP3 Coated trigger bar. This coating made the trigger bar a little smoother(?), or more slippery(?). Whichever, it reduced the friction between the trigger bar and the frame during the trigger pull. This made my trigger pull a little smoother.
