Very nice rifle non slip rubber pad to replace the plastic pad on some rifles and air rifles. - Pachmayr 500B Rifle Recoil Pad

Nice basket weave design allow for woodscrew installation with no trace of woodscrew went through pad. I use Vaseline on screwhead to keep it from damaging the pad. Pad has very little if any recoil absorption but is handy to have on a rifle for setting it upright against corner of wall or for that time when stock accidentally contact rock or tree stump.
I put these on using epoxy and woodscrews. With a wrap of tape around stock before gluing. Then use grinder/sander to bring pad down to fit the stock. It can be done beautifully with patience.
