Grip and forend set - Pachmayr Thompson/Center Contender Gun Grips

I ordered the grip and forened set, Only the grip was shipped the first time. Got two different stories about back order and non-availability. Received another grip when I should have received forend. Returned second grip and finally received forend. All that aside, the Pachmayrs perform very well. I am using them in a TC Super 14 in 45-70 and those 500grain bullets still bruise my palm but they are a pretty darn stout load.
Pros: improves grip, softens recoil
Cons: Decelerator grip a little too soft for TC 45-70 loads
