Out of the box you have to have a battery or you're sol. I had one so I put it in and here's the result.
The green dot isn't worth a flip, nothing but a cluster of dots. The red dot seems solid, I have yet to try it as I don't like that the green dot is so terrible. Believe it'll go back.
