Placing the items from inside the box ontop of it caused the plastic to warp under the pressure. I imagined with the reinforced construction that a 40lb item wouldn't cause this much wear. It didn't break through but just know it doesn't double as a portable table.
Pros: Very ridgid outter construction
Cons: the top cannot support weight on it very well
