Monk's Review of Pelican 2680 HeadsUp Lite Recoil LED Headlamp

Got the headlight in reasonable time. Looked good in the box, appears well made at the expense of being a bit heavy, and even came with a set of batteries. Installed the batteries and turned the switch. Nothing happened. Checked the battery polarity and re-installed the batteries, same song, second verse. Installed a second set of checked batteries, same song third verse. Nothing, not even a flicker of light.

If there is a bright spot so far, it is the ease with which return was effected. I asked for an exchange, so hopefully the second light will operate.
