Not just for the range - PELTOR Tactical 100 Electronic Hearing Protection Ear Muffs

I've had these about 3 months now. I find they work great while training, great fit, excellent sound management. They're sleek design and light weight build stay comfortable for hours of use. I have learned to use cheap, dollar store batteries and carry backups because it's easy to forget and leave them on after use. Battery compartment is easily accessible so a battery change only takes a second. I love to use them while working with power tools. They save my hearing and make any job more enjoyable. I use the included cable to connect to my player for tunes or radio. While mowing they are great. I can listen to my favorite talk radio and not miss a word and still adjust the ambient sound to monitor any engine sounds I might want to monitor. The radio sound is great. The build and function of mics produce a teny sound that's not the greatest but functional. It's nice to have the ability to adjust those sounds to desirable levels. These sounds are not amplified but are about equal to surrounding sounds without ears on. Seal is tight but manageable and needed for great sound blocking. Whether for the range or work, I recommend these ears. I don't think there is a better set for the price.
