Mark Rickelman's Review of 3M Peltor 6S Tactical Hearing Protection Ear Muffs
I have used these for a few weeks now. Ran them on a couple tactical carbine courses and while doing a little hog hunting. They worked great. Did a fantastic job of blocking the pew and still allowed me to hear normal conversation. Even picked up the brush rustling from animal movement I wouldn't normally have heard.
Pros:
- Sound protection, comfort and ability to use the electronic component effectively
Cons:
- Difficult to change batteries
Best Used for:
- hunting
- shooting/range day
- Tactical/Home Defense
